DEADPOOL AND WOLVERINE

What felt like a return home after four years at college, Deadpool and Wolverine needed a return to some TVA love. With Deadpool being brought in by the TVA agents “Paradox”, there was a strong need for some retro graphics, and I mean… I was the man for the job :P

TVA LOGO EXPLORATIONS

Production wanted something fresh for the TVA’s first appearance on the big screen. The first task I had in the early weeks of January 2023 was to help conceptualize a new feel for the TVA logo everyone was already familiar with. I may have went over board with the quantity… but hey it’s a film. I was excited. Ultimately we landed on the second logo shown - but I was always partial to the old IBM-esq vibe of the 7th photo, or the one with Miss Minutes :P.5

TEMPAD

I feel like I’ve been touching this temped my entire career. It follows me wherever I go LOL. Flipping back open the Nintendo DS prop, I was tasked with designing and animating some new feeling variations of the tempad OS to help get us into this new “rogue” TVA vibe, and communicate the new concept of Anchor Beings. We ultimately went with something that was more reminiscent of what you see earlier in the film, but these are some of my fav unused concepts.

I’m also including a snippet of the time door feature that was used later in the film. This was literally straight outta Loki 1 - it was fun to do a call back to our previous work on the world of the TVA.
